We are seeking an experienced and creative Hair Stylist to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to clients, including giving them an above and beyond consultation, cutting, coloring, and styling. We are looking for a seasoned stylist who has a desire to mentor young talent and set an example of what it is to be a happy, committed, punctual , caring hairstylist.You have the confidence and the professionalism to manage clients on your own. Duties
- Provide a wide range of hair services, including precision hair cutting, haircoloring, highlighting techniques, hair treatments, wonderful head massage while shampooing.
-Mentor young talent. Set the example simply by walking the walk while you are behind the chair.
- Use your knowledge of cosmetology and color theory to create personalized hair designs and recommendations.
- Develop a strong rapport with clients to understand their needs and preferences and to build long-term relationships.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques in hair care and continue to develop your skills through ongoing training and education.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary salon environment to ensure the health and safety of clients and employees. TEAM PLAYER
- Upsell services to clients to increase sales and revenue for the salon.
- Perform other duties as needed to ensure the success of the salon.
Qualifications
- A current cosmetology license.
- A strong understanding of hair care and cosmetology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with curly hair not required but definitely be interested in it.
- A passion for staying up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques in hair care.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- A strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Experience with cutting and color theory.
