Be the face of this beautiful salon in the Ken Caryl Valley. Being the first person & the last one the client speaks with. Positions available 11 A M- 2:30 PM Tuesday- Sat, 2nd assistant 3:30-5:30 PM Thursday as late as 7 PM may alternate Sats with morning assistant.
Position requires moderate computer skills with a happy heart who likes to have fun. Every day is different from giving the first time client a tour of the salon & seeing to their needs to entering orders that come in. In depth training on the Aveda products includes enjoying full size testers of the newest product yet to be on the shelves. Experiencing products allows you to educate the guest with ease or sharing something new about a favorite product. You will be what makes the salon run with a multitude of tasks. Willingness to learn & assist the owner/master stylist is important, where an intern will grow there talents ahead of their fellow classmates. Salon culture is that we happily support each other's needs by helping however is needed without the need for gossip or drama.
Starting salary starts at minimum wage for the first 3 months, followed by a wage increases twice in the first year, in addition 10% commision is paid after the first $100.00 on all retail sales.
