Computer Repair Technician (Arvada)

We are a computer repair shop in Arvada and have a good variety of computer parts and accessories in our storefront. We offer custom computer builds, diagnosis and repair of laptops and desktop computers. Some of the services we offer are, screen replacements, laptop keyboard fixes, virus and spyware removal, data recovery, networking, in-home service calls, and security camera installations.
We are currently looking to fill one part-time position. Our shop hours are Monday-Saturday 9:30-6:30 . Sundays at 10am to 4pm. Part-time 20 up to 32 hours. Position is for shop technician, must have good customer service skills, must have good computer diagnostic skills, will be responsible for calling customers after equipment has been repaired, will be responsible for answering phones and writing up work orders. You will also be responsible for coordinating with the shop supervisor to facilitate timely repairs, ie: updating work orders as to where they are at in the repair process. We are looking for someone who is honest, hardworking, reliable, friendly and technically-minded. Position could work into a shop supervisor for the right individual.
Skills Required:
Excellent customer service
Understanding of computers - repairing and building
Knowledge of various computer parts and accessories, new, old, and gaming
Experience in installing and removing software
Working well with others or by yourself
Job Requirements:
Troubleshoot and repair general computer problems, both hardware and software related
Always treat customers with respect and a friendly attitude, never talk down to the customer
Take care of customers at the front desk, on the phone, and while fixing multiple computers
Stay calm in stressful or extremely busy situations
Good communication skills, written and verbal
Be diligent to finish repairs in a timely manner
Neat, clean appearance
Punctual
