Hello, We are a high volume family owned collision center that has an immediate opening for an experienced Auto Body Technician looking to flag 70 to 100 hours per week. We have no Insurance DRP programs! We don't approve of how insurance DRP'S dictate repairs, and we fight to repair vehicles correctly and get our technicians the pay they deserve.
Must have collision repair experience as a body technician in a high quality production body shop
Ability to properly complete light to heavy repairs, including weld on replacement panels, aluminum repairs, structural and frame work
Attention to detail and ability to focus, including ability to read and follow instructions on repair orders.
Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards and procedures
Checks parts against estimate and ensures parts are correct when received with assistance of parts manager
Notifies estimator of any additional repairs needed upon disassembly and supplement. Documents any additional parts and labor required to perform a satisfactory repair. Good communication skills.
Notifies management quickly of any difficulties or issues that may prevent a quality job from being performed or delay in repair time frame.
Maintains and wears all PPE, including respirator and eye protection, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.
Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged vehicles including body work and when to replace or repair parts.
