We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician that is motivated and detail oriented!
Responsibilities
1 Evaluating the extent of vehicle body damage and determining the best repair method
2 Removing damaged parts of the vehicle using hand tools, power tools, or welding equipment
3 Repairing minor and major body damage, including dents, scratches, and rust
4 Using sophisticated frame machines to align damaged parts
5 Refitting, adjusting and aligning body parts such as doors and hoods
6 Refinishing repaired surfaces by sanding, buffing, and applying paint and sealants
7 Inspecting vehicles for structural integrity and quality of workmanship
8 Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with industry standards
9 Communicating effectively with clients, insurance companies, and other technicians
10 Various other duties
Qualifications
1 Proven work experience as an Auto Body Technician.
2 Knowledge of auto repair techniques and tools.
3 Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy parts and equipment.
4 Attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.
5 Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
6 High school diploma or equivalent; certificate from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred.
