A busy 3 bay Automotive Service shop looking to fill Automotive Technician position.
Our ideal candidate must possess a positive attitude, energetic, and be a self-motivated individual who likes to work at a fast pace. We are a growing, family-owned automotive repair shop with an opportunity for individuals to grow and gain experience working under an experienced ASE technician. Serious candidates should already have their own tools and can already perform basic services. Pay will depend on his/hers experience, can earn up to $30 flat rate. Initial Duties:
- Oil changes
- General inspections
- Brakes
- Basic diagnostics
- Engine & Transmission removal/replace
- Head Gaskets
- Timing Belts
- Suspension work
Qualifications:
-Possess a valid Colorado driver's license
-Must be capable of achieving and maintaining ASE certification
-Work with minimal supervision
-Able to read English and write legibly
-Able to diagnose repairs needed on automobiles
-Able to perform repairs and maintenance on automobiles
-Possess good verbal and written communication skills
-Able to read schematics
-Possess necessary tools to perform the required tasks
-Able to operate all company equipment needed to perform required tasks
-Be dependable
-Able to lift 60 pounds
Specific Responsibilities:
-Maintain a low rate of comeback repairs
-Road test all repairs to ensure vehicle is repaired correctly the first time
-Provide complete and accurate neatly written descriptions of diagnosis, repair and maintenance on the technician worksheet of the repair order assigned
-Punch and flag separate times for all operations including diagnosis
-Note, in writing on worksheet or inspection form, any additional repairs necessary and/or any condition that may require special explanation to the customer
-Maintain cleanliness of all vehicles assigned to repair
-Maintain a good working relationship with all other personnel
