Rune Cabinetry is an established and quickly growing Cabinetry and Custom Woodwork company in the Denver metro area. We provide custom cabinetry, millwork and custom woodwork projects for residential and commercial builds throughout the front range. We work on residential new construction and remodels as well as large commercial projects.
We are looking to fill the Shop Manager with a qualified and experienced candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee production in the shop with an eye towards efficiency and quality
- Maintaining and developing operating procedures
- Scheduling projects and coordinating any special order materials needed
- Perform skilled carpentry work in the shop and as needed, in the field
- Setup and operate machines like shapers, sanders, saws, planers, etc.
- Properly maintaining shop equipment, machines and tools
- Read, interpret and understand shop drawings, concept drawings, presentation drawings and cut lists
- Working with many varieties of sheet goods, plywood, laminates, solid wood and occasionally plastic and metal
- Working efficiently and safely to perform quality work in a timely manner
- Professional conduct and appearance
Requirements:
- Be a driven growth-oriented self-starter with ability to learn
- Ability to work well alone or as part of a team
- 3-5 years minimum proven experience in cabinetry and finish carpentry or related trades
- Proficient in the use of all hand tools, machinery and equipment used to create quality products
- Detail-oriented and able to catch potential problems before they become problems
- Problem solving abilities and ability to troubleshoot projects
- Willingness to adapt to our methods and best practices
- Positive attitude
- Valid Drivers’ License and reliable transportation
