Applied Tech West is hiring for a full time position with potential for growth. We have been restoring roofs in the Front Range of Colorado since 2015. We have completed over 1.5 millions square feet of roof restorations!
We are looking to hire a professional who is interested in working for us long term and building a long term relationship. This is a unique position and we can offer a better opportunity for growth than most other businesses in this industry can.
Necessary qualifications to apply:
-Professional and well mannered. Professional presentation - will be working directly with the building owner, or facility managers, as well as our sales team.
-Experience with commercial roof coatings.
-Experience with commercial roofing systems (how to repair EPDM, TPO, Modified Bitumen, Parapet cap, Metal, Spray Foam ). Some projects require repair work prior to the roof coating application.
-Must be detail oriented and do exceptional work while in the field.
-References will be contacted to verify previous experience.
-Project manager will be given a labor budget and must be able to keep labor expenses within the allowable budget.
-This position does require leadership skills.
Manage labor employees (includes w-2 employees, temp labor, Sub contractors) Also means putting in the time (possibly even outside of business hours) to put together a good working crew. Always on the lookout for new potential help. Setting up interviews and looking for talent.
-Requires an understanding of OSHA requirements for roofing.
-4 hours of detail labor work throughout the day.
-Looking for someone physically fit who has a lot of energy and can lift roofing materials. Being able to work in heat and cold temperatures is necessary as well.
-Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.
-Inventory management of supplies.
-Must be very efficient and have excellent organizational skills.
-Understanding of how to use heavy equipment such as boom lifts and spray rigs.
-We work Monday-Friday with occasional work on weekends. We aim to work from 8-5. This can change. Majority of our work will occur in 8 months out of the year so we can end up working longer hours in the summer.
-Must be able to pivot on a daily basis. This business is weather dependent. There can be days where zero production can occur. On these days, you must communicate with the crew to keep them updated. These days are not just days off for the project manager. These days can be utilized to make sure everything is organized, plan future projects, look for new talent, run inventory.
-Excellent communication skills to coordinate between sales team and customer. You will be the point of contact for the building owner / representative during the roof restoration process. This includes keeping our customers up to date of schedule changes, moving cars, and coordinating material deliveries, and the sort.

This position will have a start date of roughly April 1st.
Compensation is $40,000-$90,000 depending on experience and production bonuses.
