Fast-growing, design-oriented locally owned Westminster/Denver firm that specializes in roofing and siding is looking for a full-time, in-office Construction Estimator with Project Management experience.
We have a range of project types included hospitality, restaurant, multi-family residential, and mixed-use commercial. The ideal candidate possesses fluent capabilities in Blue Beam software and experience with AccuLynx is helpful. Responsibilities include design, project management, construction documentation, and construction administration.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Review and understand bid scope and requirements thoroughly.
Gather and review proposals, plans, specifications, and related documents to identify labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, and time requirements for projects.
Develop and maintain relationships and collaborate with engineers, owners, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Conduct site visits prior to bidding.
Review contracts and identify tasks necessary to satisfy contractual requirements.
Solicit, review, and analyze pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
Perform accurate quantity take-offs to quantify all scopes of work being bid on a project.
Prepare bid by analyzing labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, and time requirements.
Track change orders, shop drawings, submittals, and addendums.
Review job cost/budget with management team, and highlight any vendors/subcontractors that may still need to be awarded.
Consistently follow up on submitted bids.
Prepare documents and schedules to ensure the superintendents understand the entire scope of work, budgets, productions, and schedules prior to the start of construction.
Skills/Qualifications needed:
5 years of experience estimating roofing and siding for custom residential and small to large commercial projects
Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
Possess a thorough understanding of construction projects, specifically roofing and siding
Proficiency with using Excel
Ability to manage multiple bids and projects at the same time
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Highly responsible and detail oriented
Strong computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive attitude and team player
Reliable transportation is required for site visits
