Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Estimator/Team Lead with a strong construction background and extensive sales experience to join our team. You will play a crucial role in maximizing profitability on each project by managing the sales team, pricing materials, and labor, and ensuring every job meets our standards for quality and profit.
Responsibilities:
-Work directly with sales reps to manage leads and understand client requirements.
-Accurately estimate project costs, including labor and materials.
-Ensure profit margins are built into each job.
-Maintain a strong relationship with clients and provide clear, effective communication.
-Oversee the sales team to ensure they are following up effectively with clients.
-Negotiate contracts, handle client concerns, and ensure jobs are completed on budget.
Requirements:
-Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating.
-Strong sales and negotiation skills.
-Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
-Deep understanding of construction materials, labor costs, and profit margins.
Compensation:
-Base salary of $24,000/year plus commission.
-Commission based on sales and profitability, with potential earnings of $10,000 to $18,000 per month.
-Compensation structure to be further tailored based on experience and negotiation.
Work Environment:
-Hybrid role with flexibility to work remotely, in-office, or in the field as needed.
