Duties Include:

Perform on-site planned preventative maintenance, inspection, diagnostics, and repairs for generators, transfer switches, and related equipment (including DC & AC Voltage equipment).

Involved in the installation and orientation of home standby generators and clean energy products.

Work with residential and light commercial generator installations.

Repair and replace generator components as needed.

File warranty claims for repairs performed under warranty coverage.

Estimate time, resources, and materials required to complete jobs efficiently.

Maintain inventory, tools, general cleanliness, appearance and up-to-date maintenance records of company service vehicle.

Document services provided in a detailed manner, utilizing scheduling and workflow applications.

Effectively communicate and explain status updates with customers and coworkers.

Maintain a professional and positive attitude, while managing the challenges of changing priorities throughout the work day.

Requirements:

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Minimum 2 years relevant or relatable work experience.

High level of craftsmanship, attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, diagrams and service manuals.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various small engines.

Perform routine maintenance and servicing tasks.

Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functionality.

Maintain accurate records of repairs and inventory.

Assist customers with inquiries regarding equipment and repairs.

Uphold safety standards and guidelines at all times.

Valid Colorado driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from work.

Ability to work independently with little supervision, and as a member of a team.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Basic computer, tablet, smartphone application proficiency.

Salary negotiable based on experience
