Small, well-managed portfolio (Apartments , duplexes and homes) needs a professional handyman for ongoing maintenance. Local, steady work with quick decisions and flexible hours.
Typical work: painting and drywall repair (small patches), caulking, screen repair, blinds, shelving, door and lock work, trim, light carpentry, cabinet repairs, appliance swaps, light plumbing (faucets, p-traps, toilets, disposals), and light electrical (outlets, switches, fans, fixtures—no panel work). Seasonal and emergency tasks as needed.
Must have 3–10+ years of experience, reliable truck or van, own tools, and good communication. Physically capable and able to work independently. Prefer someone living within 15–20 minutes of Arvada.
This is a 1099 independent contractor role. You must provide:
– Certificate of Liability Insurance ($1M min)
– Workers’ Comp Proof or WC-43 Rejection (if solo)
– Completed W-9 before first payment.
Pay:
$45/hr starting. Up to $55/hr for proven professionals with strong references and fast, high-quality work. Current workload averages 10–20 hrs/week, with room to grow.
Pay per job or bi-weekly by approved time log.
