Position Requirements:
COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, no Residential work is performed at all by our company
5+ years Service experience with 2 years supervisory experience
Ability to manage up to 4 employees as well as train and teach apprentices when needed
Ability to use computer for tracking jobs, estimating service work, writing preventative maintenance contracts and monitoring emails
Able to diagnose/repair/install commercial HVAC systems in new builds or Tenant Finish, field work is included in this management position.
EPA Certified is a plus
Refrigeration knowledge required
Familiarity with wiring schematics and electrical
Extensive knowledge of controls for various equipment manufacturers
Someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and who takes pride in their performance
Good communication skills and follow-up with general contractors, customers and in-house project managers
Ensure all existing preventative maintenance contracts are performed quarterly in compliance with contractual obligations
Able to maintain our standards of quality and follow a formal procedure for each job
Keep a clean and professional appearance
Having your own tools is a plus
Must be willing to learn about new products and stay current with technology
Flexible schedule – some early mornings, late evenings and weekends
Shared on call rotation
Must be willing to work overtime if necessary
Must have good listening skills and able to understand and resolve issues that may arise
Must be able to stand, bend, crawl and squat throughout the day; capable of lifting 75lbs unassisted; able to negotiate ladders, tall accesses and high roofs
