Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and dependable part-time Van Builder/Install technician to join our team. As a 1099 contractor, you’ll play a key role in assisting with campervan and RV builds, performing upgrades, and helping maintain a clean and organized workspace. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work on exciting projects in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the outfitting of campervans and RVs, including tasks like installing bumpers, mounting cabinetry, installing insulation, and assisting in suspension packages.
Complete projects efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
Perform general shop maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
Support the team with inventory management, material handling, and prepping parts for builds.
Follow safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with basic tools and equipment (e.g., drills, saws, hand tools); experience in suspension, carpentry, electrical, or plumbing is a plus.
Ability to work as part of a team, problem solving, taking direction, and completing tasks on time are of the utmost importance.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Reliable, punctual, and consistent.
Physically capable of performing tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Additional Details:
This is a part-time 1099 contractor position with flexible hours.
Hourly rate will be based on experience.
