Position Overview
We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented Interior Plant Technician with expertise in interior plant design and maintenance. You’ll curate living art for high-end commercial interiors, ensuring plants thrive while enhancing aesthetic and air quality.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Installation: Select plants and containers tailored to clients’ lighting, aesthetics, and brand identity (e.g., modern office lobbies, hotel atriums).
Maintenance: Perform routine care—pruning, watering, fertilizing, pest management—using eco-friendly products.
Client Consultations: Advise on plant health, seasonal rotations, and trend-forward designs (e.g., vertical gardens, air-purifying species).
Inventory Management: Source and order plants, ceramics, and sustainable substrates (e.g., recycled containers, self-watering systems).
Technology Integration: Use design software (e.g., iScape) for layouts and apps for client updates.
Collaboration: Work with enhancements and arbor care teams on holistic projects.
Qualifications
Degree in Horticulture, Botany, or related field (or 3+ years of hands-on experience).
Proven track record in commercial interiorscaping design and maintenance.
Knowledge of indoor plant species (e.g., Ficus, Dracaena, succulents) and their light/water needs.
Familiarity with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and organic treatments.
Professional demeanor for client-facing interactions.
