Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Machinist with expertise in rebuilding pumps and motors, as well as custom fabrication of tools and dies. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position requires hands-on experience with machining processes, a solid understanding of blueprints, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rebuild and repair various types of pumps and motors to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform custom fabrication of tools, dies, and other specialized components as per project requirements.
- Operate and maintain a variety of machining equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining processes and tolerances.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that all machined parts meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot machining and mechanical problems, implementing effective solutions.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of projects and repairs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or associate degree in machining or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Machinist, with a minimum of [insert number] years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in rebuilding pumps and motors, as well as custom fabrication of tools and dies.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, equipment, and materials.
