Needing Mechanic in Front Range Region with some Travel
$20-$25 an hour based on experience/when traveling there will be per diem up to $100 a day
The Shop Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, trailers, and other construction equipment. They will be required to work on both diesel and gas engines and hydraulic systems. The Field Mechanic will work from various locations and move to job sites as required to monitor, diagnose, and repair fleet vehicles, equipment, and assets on-site.
Experience and Qualifications
Two years related experience preferred
Six months previous experience in a similar industry or safety-sensitive job preferred
Proficient with vehicle diagnostics equipment and mechanical systems
Extensive knowledge of all aspects of vehicle and equipment repair
Education and Certification
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid US Driver’s License required, CDL Class A preferred
ASE Certification a plus
Safeland or OSHA 30 a plus
Required Skills and Abilities
Excellent mechanical repair skills.
Aptitude for service and repair manuals.
Knowledge and ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Communicate clearly and follow or give verbal and written directions in a safe and effective manner.
Communicate professionally and effectively electronically (e.g., by email).
Punctual and can work safely and independently with limited supervision.
Read and write proficiently in English.
Work collaboratively and accountably.
Professional and team-oriented attitude.
