Job Summary:
Current Power Experts is seeking a Residential Wireman and/or Journeyman licensed in Colorado with at least three years of expertise in wiring systems for residential projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with residential and commercial electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs. As a Journeyman, the candidate will be responsible for completing projects in compliance with electrical codes, working independently or as part of a team, and ensuring high-quality service to homeowners.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to test for live circuits and to remove electrical hazards to work safely.
Install and terminate electrical wiring, run new circuits, and install systems for new and existing residential buildings.
Ability to find and troubleshoot electrical wiring issues to make necessary repairs
Perform electrical service upgrades, including installing new panels, breakers, and grounding systems.
Install outlets, light switches, ceiling fans, and light fixtures.
Inspect electrical components to identify and resolve problems before they escalate.
Run conduit and cables efficiently and per Code.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents.
Follow and enforce electrical codes, safety protocols, and local regulations.
Maintain a professional demeanor with customers and colleagues.
Plan and layout electrical system installation with both verbal and/or written instructions such as prints.
Work safely, quickly, and efficiently.
Maintain and provide proper tools to perform installations.
Adapt to daily changes and mobilize to multiple job sites as needed.
Stay self-motivated and show initiative.
Complete all the necessary paperwork for each project as required.
Apply critical thinking, problem-solving skills, time management, and prioritization.
Ensure installation efficiency and uphold standards.
Mentor apprentices, providing guidance on best practices and techniques when necessary.
Qualifications:
Valid Residential Wireman or Journeyman License in Colorado.
Minimum of 3 years of residential electrical experience, with a focus on both remodel and new build projects.
Thorough understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local codes.
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in various conditions (e.g., confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces).
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Must own hand tools and basic power tools.

Be on the ground floor of the birth of a company that values customers and employees. Start with a probation period with part time or full-time work (depending on demand at the time)
Part time/Full–time, year-round position ranging from $32/hr - $42/hr
30-40 hours per week
Company is willing to pay employee as 10-99 or w2.
