Residential Construction Air Sealing Field Technician
Denver and surrounding counties (100 mile radius)
Part time with the potential for full time hours - paid training will be provided
Compensation - Hourly $25 - $30 - commensurate with experience and qualifications

Position Overview
As a field technician at Denver Air Barrier you will play a vital role in our primarily indoor trade work, contributing to the creation of energy efficient homes. We’re seeking individuals with a strong work ethic and dedication to quality work.
Skills
Intuitive problem solving
Ability and willingness to take direction from Lead Technicians and Ownership
Knowledge of the construction industry
Familiarity with painters and/or drywall texture prep (helpful but not required)
Proficient communication with co-workers, owners, construction managers and clients
Eagerness to learn new technology
Responsibilities and Requirements
Tenacious work ethic
Reliable transportation
Valid driver's license
Punctuality and willingness to work 10+ hour shifts
Occasional weekend and out of town work required
Smartphone with consistent access to internet
Load and unload equipment from company vehicles and trailers
Help lead technicians set up equipment and prepare sites for work
Take adequate measures to protect company assets (securing trailers, vehicles and property)
Compliance with job site safety protocols
Wearing PPE when required (full face respirator, hard hat, high visibility safety vest, ey/ear protection and boots with composite or steel toe)
Safely work at heights up to 15 feet
Ability to routinely lift 60 lbs solo and team lift 160lbs
Ability to consistently walk, stand and climb flights of stairs throughout shift
Ability to tolerate loud working environments
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in construction trades or related fields
Interest in green building, building science and high performance building practices
