More and more of the end user petroleum industry is becoming reliant on technology. Credit card readers on gas dispensers are starting to utilize encryption. The point of sale systems communicate with gas dispensers on a computer network. Service technicians need a good base of knowledge in computer networks and electronics. General mechanical skills are still needed. Come join our company and take part in the changing petroleum industry! Program a new point of sale system, take part in installing a new inground tank, calibrate a new gas dispenser- These are some of the jobs you will take part in.
Some requirements:
High school education or GED
Must have valid driver's license
Must pass drug test and background check
Have good troubleshooting skills
Have reliable transportation
Basic knowledge of tools
Service oriented
Work 40+ hours a week and be available on weekends
Basic computer networking skills
Any electrical skills are a plus
We can provide training to those who are interested.
Job Duties:
Service and program electronics involved with these systems
Installation and setup of new point of sale systems
Troubleshoot the electronics of these systems
Hosing and plumbing installs
Calibration of dispensers
Greet and handle customers needs in a professional and courteous manner
Build strong customer relationships; build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/ expectations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Perform repair duties in a proper manner and time
