What You’ll Do
- Develop and grow strong relationships with custom home builders, commercial general contractors, and architectural/design firms.
- Proactively seek and pursue new business opportunities in the residential and commercial flooring sectors.
- Conduct accurate jobsite walkthroughs and flooring estimates in collaboration with our operations team.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
- Coordinate internally with project managers to ensure smooth handoff and delivery of projects.
- Monitor and manage sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and construction schedules.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Oversee any projects you closed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience in the flooring industry.
- Proven track record of developing and closing B2B deals, particularly within the builder and contractor segments.
- Strong knowledge of flooring products, materials, and installation processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Strong sales and project management and follow-through abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to client sites as needed.
