We are looking for a hard-working, dedicated, and honest animal lover for a part-time position.
Must have previous Farm/Ranch labor experience and/or experience with horses/livestock.
Ideal person will be an independent self-starter who is open to direction, have a love of animals and nature, have experience with plants/farming, and is dependable, competent, and kind. Handyperson/carpentry skills preferred. Experience with tractors, mowers, tools is great but will train if needed.
Duties include:
Daily feeding/watering/tending to all animals
Turning in/out horses
Mucking stalls and cleaning barn/animal enclosures
Grounds maintenance
o mowing and weeding
o fence maintenance
o property upkeep
Supply management
Extra projects as necessary
Ability to carry up to 60 lbs (hay bales)
Hours can be flexible but ideally Monday – Friday, 8am-12pm (20 hour per week with possibility for additional hours for special projects). Pay starts at $22/hour with an increase after 3 months. No housing available. Must have your own reliable transportation and must be dependable and willing to work in all weather conditions.
