Full-Time (average workday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday)
Compensation:
Competitive pay starting at $23/hour, with higher starting rates available for candidates with significant experience or specialized qualifications. Additional increases are based on overall performance and knowledge of the service area.
Travel Percentage:
Local travel only (within approximately 2 hours of Pine, CO).

Position Summary
South Platte Services & Shirley Septic Pumping, LLC is seeking a dependable and hardworking Septic Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing septic systems, including advanced treatment systems.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and motivated to grow into a rewarding career in septic and wastewater services. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, maintain, and repair septic systems and components
Perform mandated county inspections and complete required documentation
Diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and provide upfront pricing to customers
Operate equipment such as forklifts, mini excavators, and camera systems
Communicate clearly with customers to ensure understanding and satisfaction
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, service vehicle, and inventory
Participate in weekly team meetings and inventory inspections
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Prior experience in plumbing, septic, construction, or related fields preferred but not required
