Looking for experienced Service Writer / Shop Foreman for maintenance shop dealing with construction equipment, cranes, trucks & trailers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule and track inspections & repairs for in-house and customer owned equipment
○ maintain proper accounting of service technician productivity
Sourcing parts & maintaining inventory / specialty tooling
Creating estimates & final billings / warranty claims for work completed
Effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities
Give clear concise direction w/expectations
Oversee quality of repairs
Monitor and maintain shop & office cleanliness and keep it to standard.
REQUIREMENTS:
Self-starting individual
Minimum of 1 year service and maintenance experience
Effective communication skills – both written and oral
Good conflict resolution skills
An understanding of business management
Strong computer skills
Valid driver’s license required
