Part-time/ Full-time stable hand position opening in Arvada.
Qualities/skills: Strong & physically able to carry out labor intensive tasks and do some heavy lifting. Knowledge and experience handling horses, preferably, stable hand/groom experience. Attention to detail, organized, and tidy. Pride in job; works efficiently and effectively; can stay on task, follow direction.
Duties: Loading/unloading hay bales; moving 50lb grain bags; mucking 4 turnout areas, 11 stalls & runs; use of ATV to dump manure to storage bins; use of tractor for moving shavings and dragging arena; light repairs; horse turnout; grooming; making custom grain mixes AM/PM; giving meds; feeding hay 3x/day; cleaning stable.
Must have a smartphone. Staff use a couple of apps for feeding, communication, scheduling, time clock, and inventory.

FT $1000+/wk, PT Salary shift pay Depending on skill, experience, and time commitment.
