Job Description: Journeyman Electrician

Position: Full-Time, Journeyman Electrician

Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards or code violations
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Train, manage, and mentor-apprentice electricians
Requirements:
Colorado Licensed Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 4 years of experience
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes
Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with panel upgrades and residential remodels
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Clean driving record and ability to operate a company vehicle
Strong team attitude with good communication and customer relationship skills
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Must pass a background check (No felony convictions within 5 years)
Familiar with Federal, State, and Local codes
Basic hand tools for the trade
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
Capable of standing, walking, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching
Hours are typically 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday to Friday
Work weeks are typically 40 hours with project-specific overtime, as needed
Project-specific travel may be required
