Montana Sport North America is a Swiss owned Company, supplying specialized
ski tuning machinery to service alpine skis and snowboards. We are a growing company looking to hire talented personnel to aid in our growth goals.
The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Full-time field service technician with a strong electrical and mechanical background in both low and medium voltage systems. This position will require performing Field Service activities primarily within the Continental US and Canada. Percentage of time spent traveling: September through March 50%. April through August 20%.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Installation of new equipment
Follow-up technical support
Phone support.
In-house reconditioning of older equipment.
The Right Stuff:
The ideal candidate must be able to work independently as well as able to work as a team member on certain jobs. Must have sound reasoning and decision-making skills. Candidates will need a clean driver’s license, a passport, and must be comfortable traveling by airplane. The candidate will be part of a team of field service engineers, reporting to the local manager.
Education & Experience:
Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a 2-year college.
Technical school, or military training.
3+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic electrical knowledge is a plus, we will train for the applicable situations.
Familiarity with protective relays, power meters, PLC’s, and power
distribution control schematics is a plus.

Salary: Starting at $58,000 - $65,000, based on experience, plus bonuses.
