Meridiam Partners, an innovative and growing mining and heavy-civil contracting company is looking to add to its team. We are currently looking for a welder / operator with underground mine, tunnel construction or maintenance experience. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.
All positions require the ability to work safely & efficiently; take direction and work in a team environment.
Welder position duties Include, but are not limited to the following:
Welding structural members & pipe
General Fabrication
Working at heights
Working/welding in irregular positions
Skilled Labor position duties Include, but are not limited to the following:
Erecting/assembling concrete forms
Installation of utilities
Operating various pieces of machinery
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a mining, tunneling or other heavy-civil construction environment
MSHA 40-Hour underground training
Note that we are willing to train the right candidates who may lack some of the preferred qualifications. But welding experience is a must.
Salary & Other Compensation:
Wage Range $30-$36 per hour DOE
Per Diem
Quarterly Bonus Potential
