Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Window Installer with glazing and carpentry/finishing skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in window and door replacement and finish carpentry, framing, or remodeling, along with hands-on experience installing residential windows and doors and glazing. Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently install replacement windows and doors in residential settings.
Remove existing windows, doors, and trim with care to avoid damage to surrounding areas.
Perform necessary carpentry work, including framing, shimming, trimming, and adjusting openings for proper fit.
Apply sealants, insulation, and weatherproofing materials to ensure energy efficiency and long-term durability.
Operate power tools, hand tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
Communicate clearly and courteously with customers and team members.
Maintain a clean and safe worksite, respecting each home as if it were your own.
Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges as they arise.
Follow company safety policies and industry best practices at all times.
Qualifications
3+ years of verifiable experience in carpentry, remodeling, or construction.
Prior experience with window and door installation.
Ability to read and interpret work orders, measurements, and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
Reliable, professional, and punctual with strong problem-solving skills.
