Responsibilities: Mechanic Helper - Bi-Lingual is a plus.
· Assist Master Mechanic with repairs and/or rebuild trailers according to daily schedules.
· Assist Master Mechanic with inspecting, servicing, and replacing trailer parts as needed.
· Assist Master Mechanic with diagnosing and repairing trailer components such as electrical, doors, floors, and side panels.
· Assist Master Mechanic with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical is a must.
· Assist Master Mechanic with Repair air and hydraulic brake systems.
· Assist Master Mechanic with diagnosing and repairing suspension problems.
Knowledge and Skills for this Position:
· Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and other job-specific equipment and tools.
· Experience with welding steel.
· Lift materials, (up to 100 pounds).
· Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
· Ability to sit, walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
· Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing ( gloves, etc.)
· Detail-oriented, self-directed, good communication, and personal skills.
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
· Must be reliable, with a strong and dependable work ethic and desire to contribute to a team.
· Willing to work 40+ hours weekly and some overtime.
Requirements:
· Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older.
· Clean MVR
· Ability to pass a background screening is required.
Benefits Package:
· Seven paid holidays.
Full Time – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily
Mechanic Helpers
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour plus some overtime.

Experience: Willing to train the right person.
Diesel engine repair: 1-3 years (Preferred)
Mechanical knowledge: 1-3 years (Preferred)
Trailer Mechanic: 1-3 years (Preferred)
