Western Towing & Recovery has been contracted by CDOT to find reliable and hard-working Courtesy Patrol Drivers for I-70. This position needs dedicated drivers to patrol the interstate, providing ERS (Emergency Road service) to stranded motorists. Our objective is to get them moving again and keeping the interstate clear. Various tasks will be required to perform this position.
This is a part-time, hourly paid position with flexible scheduling. The shifts are 8am-8pm (12hrs), 1-3 days weekly. We need weekday and weekend drivers.

What you will do:
Drive a light service vehicle to provide Emergency Road Service (ERS)
Locate stranded vehicles on the interstate while patrolling or receive call information from our Dispatch
Identify the problem and provide service:
o Changing Tires
o Providing Fuel
o Jump-starting vehicles
o Lock-out Assistance
o Post-accident clean up
o Snow Chain assistance
o Others
Arrange for tow vehicle, following specific instructions from the tow manual, when the vehicle cannot be started or is unsafe to drive
Conduct routine maintenance checks and cleans the service vehicle on a regular basis
Track & record all daily activities by completing call logs
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Possession of a valid state driver’s license (No more than 2 violations within the last 3 years).
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Subject to pre-employment background check
Willing to work in all adverse weather conditions
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to drive, enter and exit the assigned vehicle on a frequent basis in all weather conditions.
The individual is required to lift equipment and accessories (50lbs or more) under difficult conditions in potentially dangerous environments.
