We are in search of a mechanic who is specialized in electrical, inspecting, repairing, and doing preventative maintenance, fleet experience is a plus, we need mechanic helpers that know all the components and systems of trailers used for hauling large loads.
Responsibilities: Trailer Mechanic ASAP.
· Repair and/or rebuild trailers according to daily schedules.
· Inspect, service, and replace trailer parts as needed.
· Utilize appropriate resources to determine the most effective and efficient method for repairing and locating parts.
· Follow all company rules and policies.
· Provide a great level of attention to detail.
· Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
· Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities: Mechanic Helper.
· Assist mechanic with repairs and/or rebuild trailers according to daily schedules.
· Assist mechanic with Inspect, service, and replace trailer parts as needed.
· Assist mechanic with Diagnose and repair trailer components such as electrical, doors, floors, and side panels.
· Assist mechanic with Troubleshoot, diagnosing, and repairing electrical is a must.
· Assist mechanic with Repair air and hydraulic brake systems.
· Assist mechanic with Diagnose and repair suspension problems.
Knowledge and Skills for this Position:
· Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and other job-specific equipment and tools.
· Experience with welding steel.
· Lift materials, (up to 100 pounds).
· Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
· Ability to demonstrate successful welding skills in non-standard situations and on varying materials is a plus.
· Ability to sit, walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time.
· Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing ( gloves, etc.)
· Detail-oriented, self-directed, good communication, and personal skills.
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
· Must be reliable, with a strong and dependable work ethic and desire to contribute to a team.
· Willing to work 40+ hours weekly and some overtime.
Requirements:
· Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older.
· Clean MVR
· Ability to pass a background and driver’s license screening is required.
Benefits Package:
· Seven paid holidays.
Full Time – 8:00am to 5:00pm daily
Trailer Mechanics
Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour plus some overtime.
Mechanic Helpers
Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour plus some overtime.

Diesel engine repair: 1-3 years (Preferred)
Mechanical knowledge: 1-5 years (Preferred)
