Tyler Technologies' NIC Federal Division has an opening on their Recreation One Stop (R1S) Team. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated developer, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, to join our team as a Full Stack Developer. This position will be a member of an agile team that builds and maintains applications and microservices for www.recreation.gov . Tyler Technologies is the nation's leader in eGovernment service delivery and we are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about exceeding expectations and leveraging technology to deliver superior service to those exploring America's public lands.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Development of modern Internet and e-commerce applications using JavaScript and Go
  • Work with an agile project team to achieve product vision.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements (SOX, PCI, Corporate, Federal, )
  • Ensure that security is designed into all applications developed in-house and procured from outside sources to comply with all company security standards.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


The following experience/skills are desired for applicants:

  • 3+ years of frontend web development experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • 2+ years of React.js experience
  • 1+ years of Go experience
  • 3-5 years of software development experience
  • Hands-on experience in REST service development
  • Experience in agile development methods including TDD, CI, and automated testing
  • Knowledge of Amazon AWS or other cloud platform experience, OOA/OOD, microservices, Sass, Docker
  • Knowledge of secure coding methods and procedures
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated and creative
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or relevant field

State Specific Salary Range Disclosure Requirements for Colorado, Connecticut, and Nevada

Salary will generally fall between $67,760 - $140,000 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
