Welder/Fabricator/Production workers will be responsible for one or more aspects of the construction of snow plows, construction buckets, jib booms, fork frames, couplers, etc Potential tasks include: Jigging, fabricating, complete assembly welding, parts cutting. Must be able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal, and follow said instructions. Must complete work with accuracy and efficiency. Employee must be able to lift heavy objects and operate overhead cranes.
KEY DUTIES OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
On-time delivery of assembled product.
Production of products consistent with quality control standards established.
Work with a heightened level of focus on SAFETY.
Work with good housekeeping and waste management practices.
One or more years of work experience and demonstrated job stability.
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
ESSENTIAL ABILITIES:
Able to read and use a tape measure and operate basic hand tools.
Read/write and basic math skills.
Ability to get along well with co-workers.
Ability to read CAD Drawings as well as hand drawings
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged standing, lifting of heavy objects, grinding.
May be required to frequently lift up to 50 lbs or more.
Hand dexterity and strength.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Elevated noise levels requiring the use of safety protective devices.
Safety Glasses required on floor
Seasonable cold/hot depending on the season.
SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS
Production experience beneficial, but not required.
Must have good basic math skills and the ability to use a tape measure.
