Frontier Environmental Services is hiring experienced dozer operators to work on the South Platte Wetland project, located in Wiggins, CO. The project consists of clearing and grading typical of wetland restoration, including stockpile, demolition, haul road management, tree removal and on site disposal. Your primary responsibilities will include safely and efficiently operating equipment, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to all safety protocols to ensure a productive and secure work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Equipment Operation: Operate a bulldozer as required for the job.
2. Safety: Prioritize safety at all times by following established safety guidelines, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and participating in daily safety training meetings.
3. Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure it is in good working order. Report any issues promptly to the maintenance team.
4. Efficiency: Complete tasks efficiently and with precision to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
5. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with supervisors and team members regarding work progress, potential issues, and equipment status.
6. Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation activities, including clearing debris, grading, and excavation work as necessary.
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment operation, maintenance, and any incidents or accidents.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Equipment Operator in a similar industry (construction, agriculture, mining, etc.).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.
