The Quality Engineering Manager is responsible for managing the SEAKR Quality Engineering organization which ensures the Quality Management System is implemented and customer and program specific quality requirements are being met. The Manager is also responsible for management, supervision and mentoring of the Quality Assurance Engineers. This is a full-time exempt position in which the work is performed under limited supervision by the Manager, Quality Assurance and is evaluated on results obtained.Key Responsibilities:Overall responsibility for the Quality Engineering department. Execute Quality Assurance activities in accordance with AS9100 and customer-specific requirements.Evaluate non-conformances to identify root cause(s) and corrective/preventive action(s).Lead Material Review Board and Failure Review Board activities.Analyze quality data and identify areas for improvement.Lead internal and customer corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.Drive continuous improvement and support Lean initiatives.Review and evaluate Quality Engineering personnel performance.Establish department goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on company priorities and needs.Supervise, train, and develop Quality Assurance engineers.Other duties as assigned.
