Define, design, develop, test, certify and improve cutting-edge software products.
Responsible for a wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems.
Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and software throughout our development process.
Technical duties involve the design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
Experience with C
Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
Experience developing software for Linux systems.
Experience with containers and containerized software (e.g., Docker)
Exposure to model-based engineering and MBSE tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Understanding of industry standard software languages such as C, C, Java, Python, and Bash
Experience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build
Experience with complicated technical communication such as file transport over a serial port
Experience with Vehicle Software, Emission planning, and developing maintenance equipment
Experience with Windows XP platform is a bonus
Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, bitbucket, bamboo etc
Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral
Experienced with data structures
Experience working with the Data Distribution Service (DDS)
Experience with C/C Build Systems (e.g., CMake)
Experience developing software for embedded platforms ( ideally embedded Linux)
