We seeking an estimator for a reputable and growing electrical contracting company serving commercial, residential, and industrial clients throughout Northern Colorado. Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating electrical construction projects and a strong understanding of the electrical trade.
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects (commercial, residential, and industrial)
Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and drawings
Perform material and labor take-offs
Communicate with vendors, GCs, and project managers to gather pricing and scope details
Prepare and submit bid proposals
Track and follow up on submitted bids
Assist with project handoff to field teams after bid acceptance
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in electrical estimating (or equivalent field experience)
Familiarity with electrical codes, materials, and construction practices
Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, McCormick) and Microsoft Office
Strong math and analytical skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Journeyman license or field experience a plus
