We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Mechanic for production to join our team for Colorado locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical & electrical systems and a passion for troubleshooting and repairing various types of CNC & Blow molding machinery. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment, contributing to the overall success of our operations. The Mechanic will be responsible for helping to maintain and repair multiple lines (CNC & BLOW MOLDING) in timely fashion while following all safety rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting/repairs of CNC & BLOW MOLDING Machines.
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge of power transmission, pneumatics, hydraulics and electronics
- Look for root cause of repetitive problems and solve
- Work with supervisors for continuous improvement of process equipment operation
- Record of activities in Maintenance Log
- Inform storekeeper when stock of critical parts is low
- Prepare Withdrawal Form when removing parts from the Storeroom
- Remove parts and pipes for sanitation/cleaning and re-assemble for next production run.
- All processing and equipment changeover.
- Operational knowledge of all equipment in plant
- Understand and adhere to all Plant Food, Health & Safety Policies
- Follow all GMP, Food Safety, Sanitation Principles to ensure food safety of plan and equipment
Requirements:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
- Able to deal with people sensitively and professionally
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment while multi-tasking
- 3 Years of experience as a Line Mechanic
