How you’ll spend your time as aMetal Roofing Superintendent – Commercial:
- Oversee all metal roofing projects from start to finish.
- Supervise and lead metal workers, including in-house employees and subcontractors.
- Provide training and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and safety compliance.
- Conduct daily site visits to monitor progress, assess quality, and enforce safety regulations.
- Work closely with project managers and clients to communicate project status, timelines, and any changes in scope.
- Ensure that all materials are ordered, delivered, and stored properly.
- Maintain inventory records and track material usage.
- Implement quality assurance procedures.
- Conduct inspections and final walkthroughs before project completion.
- Monitor labor cost and expenditures.
- Identify areas for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures on-site and conduct weekly safety meetings and training sessions.
Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Metal Roofing Superintendent - Commercial:
- 5+ years of metal roofing experience.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Proficient in metal roofing systems, installation techniques, and relevant building codes.
- Strong ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues on-site and implement effective solutions quickly.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights.
