Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper, a role that is based remotely. As part of our team, you will be working in the industry of accounts payable, focusing on maintaining and processing financial records, including the general ledger and accounts payable.Responsibilities: Accurate processing of accounts payable on a daily basis Assure efficient handling of customer credit applications Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required Maintain up-to-date customer credit records Ensure accurate financial reporting, particularly at month-end close Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reports Prioritize and manage multiple financial tasks within a deadline-oriented environment Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries, resolving issues in a timely manner Review, reconcile, and correct general ledger entries Contribute to the continuous improvement of bookkeeping and financial processes. Requirements Must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role. Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel is mandatory. Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required. Experience with General Ledger is necessary. Must have previous experience in Financial Reporting. Familiarity with Month End Close procedures is essential. High attention to detail and accuracy in all work. Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large amounts of data. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
