Mechanical Assembler

Summary:As an Assembler, you will be using your previously developed skills and expertise to build aircraft parts according to drawings and written instructions. The role entails performing low to moderately complex assembly and tests on products, including but not limited to small products, light subassemblies, and/or complete units of a smaller size.Responsibilities:

Assemble aircraft parts according to specifications.

Performs low to moderately complex assembly and test.

Products may include but are not limited to small products, light subassemblies, and/or complete units of a smaller size.

Assemble, install, align, adjust and fit subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipment.

Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment per proper work instructions.

Follow work instructions associated with assembly skills to become certified for work being performed.

Work with close tolerances and fits to meet engineering and operating requirements.

Pick and/or stock parts from point of use in stock rooms and places completed parts.

Complete all required paperwork in an accurate and efficient manner, including Quality Assurance and Test Record.

Qualifications:

1+ years' experience in manufacturing environment preferred, but also open to candidates with work experience using hand/ power tools (i.e. construction, landscaping, oil & gas)

Strong mechanical aptitude

Proficiency using hand and power tools

Ability to read blueprints and/or engineering drawings preferred, but not required

Basic computer skills is a MUST

Keen attention to detail; and ability to work with close tolerances

Shifts Available:

1st shift: Mon-Fri, 6am - 2:30pm ($18.75/hr)

2nd Shift: Mon-Fri, 2pm - 10:30pm ($20.63/hr)

Must be willing to work overtime as needed.Benefits:
