Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in FORT COLLINS, Colorado. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining the general ledger. You will also be expected to make journal entries, handle month-end close procedures, and manage sales tax and credit card reconciliation processes. Responsibilities: Manage and process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions. Conduct regular bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations. Maintain and update the general ledger regularly. Prepare and record journal entries as required. Handle month-end close procedures effectively and accurately. Manage sales tax calculations and filings. Utilize NetSuite for various accounting tasks and processes. Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and reported accurately. Collaborate with other team members to improve and streamline accounting procedures. Resolve any accounting discrepancies or irregularities promptly. Requirements Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management Capable of performing Bank Reconciliations effectively Demonstrable experience with General Ledger management Ability to prepare and maintain Journal Entries accurately Experience in handling Month End Close activities Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks Knowledge of Sales Tax calculations and regulations Experience in Credit Card Reconciliation is required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
