Busy taqueria and cantina seeks strong bar manager with a fun, laidback personality who is also organized, driven and passionate about excellent service and excellent cocktails. You will work directly with our beverage director on a fixed seasonal menu and long-term goals while enjoying the autonomy of deciding specials, promotions, events, staff-trainings and other in-house features.
Candidates must have strong tequila/mezcal knowledge, ability to create cocktails as well as support a team of bar creatives, experience with inventory, ordering and cost-control and a record of strong leadership. Management experience preferred but we can talk about experience outside of management roles.
This is an on-the-bar position with separate hours available to complete administrative tasks. You will have a co-manager focusing on the floor staff and run the restaurant cooperatively while focusing on your bar team.
