Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Saute' and Prep Cook to join our culinary team. You will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Assist in meal preparation under the guidance of the head chef
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry area
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Ensure all food meets quality standards before serving
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Qualifications:
-Time Management. Get in and get started
- Experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from superiors
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with knife skills for food preparation
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with different types of cuisine and cooking techniques
-Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen.
