Do you enjoy being active, doing physical, fast-paced work outdoors Looking for a few extra hours of work temporarily? We've got the perfect gig!
We're a small, local vegetable farm looking for a part-time helper on Saturdays at the downtown FOCO farmers market. We need one person to help with our set up from 6-10am and another person to help with teardown from 11:45am-1:45pm.
Setup involves loading the van at the farm, then driving to market and unloading tents, tables and produce from our van and getting the market booth up and running. Lots of repetitive lifting up to 50 lb. Tear down is the same but in reverse order - getting all the gear organized & loaded back into the van.
Market runs every Saturday now through the end of October. Pay is $16/hour. Perks include free produce at the end of market and free coffee during setup.
Looking for someone reliable who can show up on time and commit to helping each week.
Send an email if you're interested and let me know if you'd prefer the setup or teardown shift. Setup shift will require a vehicle to drive from the farm to market. Both positions require new hire paperwork.
