At A.K.A. Kitchen, hospitality starts at the front door. We're looking for a polished and proactive Host/Hospitality Coordinator to lead the guest experience and keep the front-of-house running smoothly.
Roll Overview:
As the first point of contact, you'll set the tone for every guest's visit. This role blends the warmth of a host with the awareness of a maitre d' managing service flow, supporting the team, and maintaining a welcoming, well-organized space.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet Guests with warmth and professionalism
Manage reservations, walk-ins, and pacing
Manage a calm, floor presence
Ensure cleanliness of entry, dining areas and restrooms
Assist with table turnover and team coordination
Serve as the communication link between front and back of the house
Help uphold the ambiance through demeanor, dress and detail
What we're looking for:
Experience (preferably 2 years or more) in hospitality, ideally in a host role
Strong timing, multitasking, and people skills
Calm under pressure with a guest-first attitude
Clean, organized, and team-oriented
Available for weekend shifts
