Job Descriptions

Line cooks

Responsible for setting up and prepping stations before service.

Expediting and completing orders efficiently and to the quality standards set by the chef during service.

After service, cooks are also responsible for the closing and cleanliness of the kitchen. From shutting down and detailing equipment, to making sure product is properly stored according to food safety standards.

Cooks are expected to be well versed in all positions within the kitchen; from being able to prepare any recipe in house to working a dish shift, we are all in this together.

Brunch cooks

Responsible for prepping menu items for weekend brunch service.

Setting up and prepping stations before service.

Expediting and completing orders efficiently and to the quality standards set by the chef.

After service, brunch cooks are responsible for the breakdown and turn over from brunch to dinner service. From detailing and cleaning equipment and stations, to making sure product is properly stored according to food safety standards.

Brunch cooks should be comfortable cooking eggs in any style, able to follow and complete recipes consistently and in accordance to restaurant standards.

A strong sense of self-motivation is needed, as well as the ability to multi-task.

Qualifications/Certification

o Servsafe certified, preferred.

o Ability to consistently lift 50lbs or more.

o Basic knife skills.

o Basic cooking knowledge.

o Ability to understand and execute recipes.

o Works well with a team.

o Ability to work clean and organized.

o Creative

o Quality focused

o Open availability

o Weekend and A.M. availability(brunch position)

o Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
