```Overview```
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. You MUST have prior experience. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about dentistry and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone to work Tuesday-Friday. Tues- Thurs hours 7:30am-5:15pm, Fri hours 6:30am-2:30pm
```Duties```
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take dental x-rays
- Take intraoral scans and/or alginate impressions; pour models
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Perform patient assessments and document medical history
- Maintain a clean and sterile working environment using aseptic techniques
```Skills```
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Dental assisting experience or relevant education/training
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Proficiency in dental software for appointment scheduling and patient records management
- Ability to take accurate vital signs of patients
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques used in dentistry
- Understanding of aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment
