Dental Hygiene Position
Dr. Michael Murphy’s attention to detail, ethical care, and great sense of humor make this position available to serious eager hygienists desiring a career in an up to date technology, educated practice that specializes in all areas of dental care. We are a small one doctor, 4 ops office with 2 dedicated to hygiene. We believe passionately it is our role as providers to provide all options and the ultimate top of the line dental care. Must have the ability to communicate comfortably, as a Dental Hygienist communicating to the patient the value in preventive care and more invasive treatment so the patient can make an educated decision in the importance of preventing and maintaining healthy oral care. Dr. Murphy and our Hygienist specialize in a very thorough preventative and periodontal program. Dr. Murphy loves implants surgical guides and does a variety of types of procedures and dental care from restorative, implants, TMJ-Botox, strict periodontal disease assessment and protocol, cosmetic dental care including Teeth Whitening, Dental Veneers, Crowns & Bridge, Pediatric Dentistry, and is excited to learn more about the breathing/sleep assessments dental providers will be mandated by law to provide.
To A Qualified Candidate, We Offer:
A competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience
Monday - Thursday work week (17 days a month) occasional Fridays 7-1 planed 6 months ahead
Qualifications:
Excellent communication, listening skills, and teamwork mentality
Must be dependable and be able to handle a variety of tasks
Must work well in a team but be self-reliant as well
X-ray certification ideal
Nitrous certification preferred
Dentrix experience a plus
Duties of the position:
Maintaining patient treatment notes
Organizing patient treatment plans accurately for front to present accurate estimates
Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining instruments
Maintain office inventory of supplies
